A Third Culture Kid myself, I was born and raised outside of my passport country of the United States and lived there until I finished high school. After graduating summa cum laude from Princeton University and working in the Bay Area and Washington, DC for a number of years, I embarked on a globally mobile life with my husband, and  we've been living around the world since as a diplomat family with the US government, raising two kids over the past eighteen years, in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and East Africa. 

​I come to parent coaching and educational consulting from a background in youth development and non-profit programming and support, and previous work as a college application coach for high school students and families navigating the complex US college application process. I have served on the governing boards of international schools in the countries where we’ve lived, which has given me a strong understanding of the particular challenges and opportunities of educating children in international and multicultural settings. After completing a rigorous, graduate-level parent coach certification process through the Parent Coach Institute and its Parent Coach Certification® Training Program, I first founded Equilibrium Parent Coaching in 2021 to support parents to form more positive and connected relationships with their children during the often turbulent adolescent years. 

After observing the particular stress in families with their teens around college admissions, I then decided to refresh my college consulting skills and expand the services I offer to include tailored college planning support, and I completed UC Irvine's post-graduate certificate program in Independent Educational Consulting. I'm thrilled to bring my coaching and consulting together in Equilibrium Parent Coaching and College Consulting.
