Among the various parent coaching programs, PCI’s Parent Coach Certification® Training Program stands out for its breadth, depth, and rigor. I was drawn to the program and its stated description that “PCI Certified Parent Coaches® use a highly successful coaching model adapted from executive coaching that productively addresses the whole parent and the whole child in today's current culture with its unique parenting challenges.” Alongside adult students from diverse backgrounds in education, social work, non-profits, and counseling, I spent over a year in graduate-level coursework alongside extensive practice coaching hours to satisfy the certification requirements.
